Yes, cats get into trouble, but today's posting is dedicated to Cody the dog who was in found in deep trouble, lost on the main road in Keene Village, New York, near Lake Placid. Last Saturday, July 21st, the Purveyors of Global Cat Love were returning home from an idyllic week-long vacation at the world famous resort town of beautiful Lake Placid. As we traveled on the road that would take us to the NY State Thruway, Cody, a sturdy, but half-blind beagle, darted in and out of traffic desperately barking for help. The Purveyors of Global Cat Love stopped and saved the frightened dog from the speeding traffic that refused to yield to his pleas. In a bit of luck for Cody, just as The Purveyors of Global Cat Love calmed him down and a decision needed to be made on the best course of action, a car pulled up with a woman who recognized Cody. She happened to be a neighbor of Cody's family and knew he had disappeared. This lovely woman offered to return Cody, dog in trouble, back home to his family. A purr-fect ending. Meow.

Inevitably you’ve got to admit all of our adorable feline friends find themselves in precarious situations, especially when their insatiable curiosities rear up.
Wherever there’s an open door, car trunk, window, toilet, or discarded box, big or small, a cat in trouble usually results. Sometimes the situations are goofy—and sometimes not so goofy. Sometimes the situations are outright amazing. And, sometimes—quite often actually, our darling little fur balls land into trouble because they’ve just had an evil cat moment. Hey, they’re entitled.

Your story can be told in a few brief words or in a paragraph or two. Please also include your cat or cats’ name(s), along with age, if known. Photo images must be of good quality and highest possible resolution. Multiple submissions are accepted. Please also include your e-mail address so you can be contacted if your story and or image are used.
